Having spent over 40 years locked in a prison cell for a murder he maintains he did not commit, Black Panther activist Herman Wallace says he’s been buried deeper than most anyone on earth.
In The Deeper They Bury Me, you’ll hear what it’s like—directly from Herman—to feel caged for one’s political beliefs and how he’s been able to maintain his sanity through four decades of solitary confinement. By putting visitors in Herman’s shoes, this interactive encounter paints a one-of-a-kind portrait of the power of imagination to defy the most oppressive of circumstances.
