Circa Installation Vancouver

The Circa 1948 interactive art app is a small window to the past, to history that should not be forgotten. The Circa 1948 interactive installation takes the immersiveness a step further - it is a doorway to the past, to fragments of history as Stan Douglas interprets them. The primary goal of the Circa 1948 installation is to push the boundaries of interface and story; to experiment with ways in which we can further remove the physical barriers of experiencing art. In this adaptation of the story the user’s body becomes the navigational device. This site specifica installation was produced in collaboration with Simon Fraser University Woodwards Cultural Programs and Vancouver International Film Festival.
