194116 minFilm: Documentaire
Produced during the organizational transition between the Canadian Government Motion Picture Bureau and the NFB.
Ce titre est une acquisition.
Canada has more than half the fresh water in the world, and her economy is naturally bound up with her waterways. This film shows how, in the country's development, they were the first highways. The first settlements grew up along them, and today these waterside settlements have become great industrial cities, still using the waterways for the transport of their goods.
