The Visible Will vs. the Invisible Wall

This project pairs five emerging Montreal filmmakers with 5 emerging Montreal musical acts. The basic idea is that filmmaker and musical act collaborate on creating a short film aiming to explore the relationship between picture and sound. The documentaries are to be distinctly experimental, with the filmmakers encouraged to find, in collaboration with the musicians, a mode of cinematic expression analogous to the music made by the artists in question.
