Trading Places (Series 1) - Episode 8 - Peace for Panic

This episode of Trading Places swaps families from neighbouring provinces, and the scenery couldn't be more different. Lee and Marnée Beauvais love the tranquility and beauty of Salt Spring Island just off the West Coast. Marnée splits her time between a hardware store, community projects and their precocious son, Jake. Lee is an Internet guru and home renovator.

Roxanne Taylor-King and Cameron Gerlitz's lives can be described in only one way - NUTS. They own five breakfast cafés in Calgary and have another in the works! They spend their days running between restaurants firing, hiring, and filling in as chef when need be, not to mention making sure their two young children, Ciara and Austen, are happy and healthy. Luckily, they have a nanny, Villa.

Get these couples packed and out the door - easier said then done for the Calgarians. Send them to the airport where they'll receive the envelope that reveals all! They may live in neighbouring provinces, but their lives are worlds apart. Can the Beauvais keep five restaurants going? How will the Gerlitz's handle the challenges of jobs completely different from their own? They're each going to have to work it out, figuring out what tools they need, whether it's screwdrivers, modems, or spatulas!
