The Happy Prince

Based on a classic tale by Oscar Wilde, this animation film tells the bittersweet story of a golden statue and a soft-hearted swallow. Their unlikely friendship enables them to assist the town's needy in many strange and wonderful ways. In the course of their good deeds, the princely statue loses his beauty and the swallow his life. Eventually, the two friends are reunited by an angel acting on God's instructions to bring him the two most precious things in the city.
