The Alcoholic Within Us

Written by an alcoholic, this film singles out six emotions that are thought to cause alcoholism: feelings of fear, insecurity, inadequacy, guilt, loneliness, and resentfulness. These emotions are portrayed as people living in a single house. Instead of making an effort to live together and cope with their feelings, they turn to the instant solution, alcohol, to alter their feelings. The "emotions" soon find that their solution does not work in the long run.
