Two prisoners are trapped in a void. Trying separately to escape, they
discover each other and have to overcome their fear in order to connect and
find a way out. Or do they really discover themselves? Filmmaker Greg Labute
renders an austere nightmare world using the SANDDE™ stereoscopic animation
drawing tool and a dark, slightly perverse imagination. Without words.
This animated short was made for Hothouse 6, the NFB’s program for emerging
filmmakers, whose central theme was “Inside Out”.
