Paul-André Fortier has been a dancer for 30 years, earning accolades for his performances in Quebec, in Canada and around the world. As a choreographer, he has also worked tirelessly for his art throughout his career. The starting point of this short film is the choreographer’s latest work, a collaboration with musician and composer Malcolm Goldstein on the theme of death. Produced by the National Film Board of Canada in co-operation with the National Arts Centre and the Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards Foundation on the occasion of the 2012 Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards.
