In a backstreet curiosities shop, veteran comic actor Patrick Huard (as Pops) guides young Nathan through a whimsical journey of life lessons hidden in the shop’s seemingly worthless relics. Through his own stories of resilience, creativity, and responsibility, Pops tests Nathan’s qualifications as apprentice. When Nathan apparently fails that test, he must reluctantly leave. But defiantly swiping a meaningful item on his way out suddenly turns the tables: Nathan’s got what it takes. He’s hired!
