Pardonnez-moi, Mr. Karsh

This is hardly photography by Yousuf Karsh, as the title might imply, but it does have its own character and style. Here the photographer emerges, literally, from the street and then, camera at the ready, makes Montréal his studio and the people in the street his subjects. But he is no ordinary picture-taker. He also turns enquiring reporter and provokes scenes that are often fresh, lively and amusing when he asks, "Do you think you are normal?"
