Produced by the National Film Board of Canada for the Royal Canadian Air Force with footage supplied by the RCAF.

This account of the June 1954 solar eclipse shows the scientific team being flown by Royal Canadian Air Force airplane along the path of the eclipse. This allowed for prolonged and unobscured observation as the eclipse passed over the Labrador coast.
