Explore the traditions of masks in five different cultures of the Pacific Rim: the Northwest Coast aboriginal peoples of British Columbia, the Yupik of Alaska, the traditional societies of Papua New Guinea, and the performance worlds of the Noh theatre of Japan and the dance theatre of Bali, Indonesia.

This multimedia adventure fosters cross-curricular learning, with segments on geography, history, theatre, arts, music and language. Includes interactive maps, musical demonstrations, multimedia journals and a guide with suggested classroom activities. Masks will interest the curious student, the armchair traveller and the serious researcher/explorer.
