Hymn

Here the students had colour film in their camera and the result is a pleasing action-portrait of Montréal and the Québec scene. They experiment with techniques--the zoom, accelerated motion, distant perspective--and find no scarcity of subjects for their romp away from tradition. It is a visual hymn with a lilt; a vital, filmic response to the charms of the old province.
