Produced by the National Film Board of Canada for the Organizing Committee of the 1976 Olympic Games.
This feature film is the result of editing almost one hundred km of film shot during the twenty-first Olympiad in Montréal during the summer of 1976. Much more than a simple record of the Games, the film approaches each event with the intention of revealing the athlete--whether winner or loser--as an individual.
