This compilation includes: Project Impact: The Overview (28 min.) and Project Impact: The System (35 min.), which introduce an innovative program to overcome overcrowding, absenteeism, and high drop-out rates at the primary school level. This program relies on peer-group teaching, the use of older students as teaching assistants, self-paced modular instructions, and community involvement. Education ministries in Indonesia and the Philippines were able to maintain teaching standards, radically reduce costs, and increase the student-teacher ratio substantially, without a decrease in the quality of education.
