A man torn between two worlds--the world of reality and the world of his own dreams and ambitions--is the basis of this drama about Andy Potter, a successful lawyer unable to face mediocrity. Andy got along with his wife and his many friends, there was no apparent reason for him to wish to end his own life; he had everything a man would need to enjoy life fully. On the outside modest and unassuming, internally he was driven by a consuming urge to conquer and distinguish himself. One by one, the symptoms of schizophrenia took their toll.
