Baby Crash

Baby Crash is a documentary that explores the declining birth rates in the G-7 nations. The phenomenon correlates directly to the unprecedented power and freedom women enjoy in these societies. We will examine how the choices young couples make in the western world ultimately translate into giving society its notice. The birth rate in Europe is two million babies short per year of what is required to sustain the population. In Japan, Canada and the United States the problem is the same. It seems the more educated the family, the fewer children they will bear. This documentary is about a demographic revolution, and how deliberate personal choices are causing serious problems for these societies.

Baby Crash is a treaty co-production between the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR TV), Denmark's national radio and television broadcaster and Partners in Motion, in partnership with W Network.
